Entry via License Plate Recognition

Access to P5 is seamless thanks to automatic License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology. Simply drive up to the barrier, and it will scan your plate and open automatically. If the camera does not recognize your plate, you can use the QR code on your booking confirmation as a digital key.

Since your spot is pre-booked via Parkos, please do not take a paper ticket from the machine to avoid being charged twice. If you need assistance, support staff are available 24/7 via the intercom button at the gate.

Premium Business Parking at Terminal 2

The "P5 Business" car park is the most convenient option for anyone flying out of Terminal 2. As an official Hamburg Airport facility, it offers a distinct advantage: a direct, covered walkway connecting the car park to the terminal's Arrival level.

Thanks to this weather-protected link, you can walk to the check-in desks in just about one minute without getting wet—perfect for rainy days or business travellers in suits. It is the most efficient way to start your journey.

Facilities and Levels

The P5 facility spans 8 levels (Levels 1-8). Levels 1 through 7 are covered, while the top deck (Level 8) is open-air. Two lifts (elevators) ensure barrier-free access, making it easy to move luggage between floors.

The main feature is the covered connection bridge that leads you straight into Terminal 2. Please keep the vehicle restrictions in mind: the maximum clearance height is 2.00 meters. Spaces are suitable for cars up to 2.50m wide and 5.00m long.

Note regarding the parking area: Parking spaces are located both within the parking garage and on the adjacent parking deck. In the event that the covered area is at full capacity, parking will be assigned on the open-air parking deck.
