Online exclusive with smart entry

Currently, the P8-9 facility is available exclusively to customers with an online reservation. Access is convenient and touch-free thanks to License Plate Recognition. Simply drive up to the barrier, and the system will automatically recognize your car and open the gate.

If the camera does not read your plate, you can use the QR code on your booking confirmation as a backup key. Important: Do not take a paper ticket from the machine at the entry, as this may result in double charges. Support staff are available 24/7 via the intercom button if you need help.

The budget choice for holidaymakers: P8-9

The "P8-9 Holiday" car park is the official budget-friendly offer from Hamburg Airport. It is designed specifically for travellers who want to save on parking costs and are happy to accept a longer transfer time in return.

Please note: There is no shuttle bus service from this car park. The terminals are approximately 1,500 meters away, which takes about 20 minutes to walk. If you are travelling light and want the best price on official airport grounds, this is the option for you.

Car park features and dimensions

The facility consists of two sections (P8 and P9) spanning 7 levels (Levels 0 to 6). The lower levels are covered, while Level 4 is partially covered and Level 6 is completely open-air. Four lifts (elevators) ensure barrier-free access to all floors.

Given the distance to the terminals (approx. 1.5 km), we recommend allowing extra time for the walk on the day of your flight. The maximum clearance height is 2.00 meters. Spaces are suitable for vehicles up to 2.50m wide and 5.00m long.
