When coming to the airport, there can be many delays. That is why a reserved parking space is a big relief. Parking Airea does not only make sure you have enough time, but offers you even more advantages. Your vehicle will be safely parked and secured on the parking lot of Parking Airea. This parking provider is available 24-hours a day, to assure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. The airport tax is included in the parking price.

ParkingAirea will help you unload your luggage. You have the option of using the toilet and storage facilities on site.

Notes/surcharges:

• The airport fee is included in the parking price.
• You should allow approx. 30 minutes for parking including vehicle check-in and transfer to the airport.
• 3 people are included in the booking price. If there are more than 3 people, an additional charge will apply for each additional person. If you have not used the options in the booking window, you will have to pay the difference on site.
• The parking provider charges a surcharge for bulky luggage.
• For oversized vehicles (e.g. Vans, Transit, T5, Traffic) an additional charge will be charged. If you have not used the options for this in the booking window, you will have to pay the difference on site.
• If you are delayed by more than 30 minutes, you will have to pay an additional charge of €10.00, as this will incur additional personnel costs due to your late arrival.

How does shuttle parking work?




Arrival




You bring your vehicle to the Parking Airea pick-up point, where you will be met by a member of staff. A member of staff will assign you a parking space and provide child seats on the shuttle. The shuttle bus takes you to the airport without waiting. The transfer is free for up to 3 people, a surcharge applies for each additional person. We recommend that you drop off your fellow travelers at the airport beforehand.

Parking Airea is located next to the VW Center on Poller-Holzweg and our staff are available 24/7. Please plan enough time for your journey to the airport.

Return journey

For the return journey, report to the Parking Airea employee at Bus Terminal 2 so that the shuttle service can take you to your vehicle.

How does valet parking work?




Arrival


On the day of arrival, drive straight to the departure terminal and call Parking Airea 30 minutes before arriving at the airport. An employee will meet you at the meeting point and briefly check your vehicle. After that you can go to check-in. During your absence, your vehicle will be parked at the Poller Holzweg in Cologne.

Return


Once you have received your luggage, go to the meeting point at Departures Terminal 1C and call Parking Airea. Your vehicle will then be driven up again and you can drive home relaxed.
