The parking lot of Idealparken is closed-off, well-lit, asphalted and equipped with video surveillance. The guards of Idealparken are at the parking lot 24 hours a day, who check the exit and entry all the time.

For both shuttle-and valet-parking, there will be a short vehicle inspection where photos will be made, and documented.

Please note that you can only keep your keys when you choose the shuttle-service. Your car keys will be kept safe in a safe.

In case you have chosen for indoor parking, your car will be parked in the closed-off parking garage designed only for your car.

Idealparken has a shuttle-bus available which is free of charge, and well-air-conditioned. The transfer with the shuttle-bus includes three persons and un-loading your luggage. In case you travel with four persons, or more, there will be an additional charge of €5 for driving you to the airport, and back to the parking lot. This amount can be paid at the spot.

Moreover, Idealparken offers you several other services. They do not have a waiting room with toilets available, they also offer a gas-service, so your cars' fuel will be completely refilled when you come back from your trip. You can add this service to your reservation.

When you choose for indoor parking, your car will be parked in the luxurious parking box, designed for just one car. In this small parking garage, your car will be protected from hail, wind and sunshine. The boxes are well-lit, closed-off and spacious, there is no need to worry when you park your car in this parking box.

Vehicles with a width less than 2.2m and a length of less than 4.5m can park at Idealparken. In case your car is bigger than these measurements, you can request a bigger parking space, there will be an additional charge for this.

For the transfer with the shuttle, everybody can only take one suitcase with them to make sure everybody can be transferred to the airport. In case you would like to bring oversized luggage, there will be an additional charge of €10, which you can pay at the spot.

Please note that the park provider for a delay of more than 15 minutes, a surcharge of €15.00 inquires, as this by your later arrival further staff costs.

From the highway A59, you will find the parking lot within 4 minutes. You will take the exit 36-Lind, and follow the Frankfurter Straße/B8 approximately 1.3km. With the indication of Lind/B8, you will go left to the Belgische Allee. After 700m you will go right to the Senkelsgraben, on which the parking lot is located.

How does shuttle parking work?

Arrival
Please contact Idealparken half a hour before you arrive to the parking lot, to confirm your time of arrival. You will drive to the parking lot of Idealparken and check-in at the reception desk with your reservation confirmation. Afterward, you will park your car on the parking lot and you will keep your keys. Depending on the type of parking you reserved, you will park your car in the one-vehicle-parking-garage or on the outdoor parking lot. The parking provider will make some photos of your vehicle, to document possible previously existing damages. Afterward you will be transferred to the terminal by a comfortable and free of charge shuttle-bus. Please make sure that you plan sufficient time for the transfer, as in certain seasons there are significantly more customers that use the shuttle-service. The transfer itself will only take eight minutes before you arrive to the terminal.

Return
Please contact Idealparken as soon as you have claimed your luggage. On the way back you will be picked up again from the meeting point at the terminal, and safely driven back to your car.

How does valet parking work?

Arrival
When you choose valet, you choose for a more luxurious type of parking. You will drive directly to the airport terminal, where an employee of Idealparken will be waiting for you, who will check your car on previously existing damages before driving it to the parking lot. You will be able to recognize the employee of Idealparken by their white vests. The parking lot of Idealparken is secured and equipped with camera surveillance, to make sure your car is safe. You can choose between either indoor parking or outdoor parking.

Return
Please contact Idealparken as soon as you have claimed your luggage. Upon your return, your vehicle will be driven to the airport terminal again, and will be returned to you at a terminal of your choice.
