About Parkkönig

Parkkönig has over 300 parking spaces in the parking garage. The shuttle and valet service can be used 24 hours a day. The garage has a maximum entrance height of 2.10 m and cars with a maximum length of 5.25 m can be parked in the parking spaces.

Shuttle-Service
If you decide to use the shuttle service of Parkkönig, you park your car in the parkingprovider's car park. The shuttle bus will then take you to the airport within 4 minutes. Parkkönig has another car park just 5 minutes away from Danziger Straße 101, so you may be asked to follow the shuttle bus which will show you where you can park your car. This parking garage offers you the same conditions as the one in Danziger Straße 101. You can take the car keys with you on your journey. On your return journey you will be picked up again by the shuttle bus at the airport and taken to the parking garage.

Valet-Service
The valet service will take you directly to Düsseldorf airport. There an employee of Parkkönig will pick up your car and park it for you on a secured area of Parkkönig. On your return, your car will be waiting for you again in the departure hall of the airport.

Parkkönig's parking garage is monitored by cameras and closed with a rolling grille. The garage also has alarm and fire protection.

There are parking spaces in the car park for people with a disability. Drinks are also available and you can rent a locker for valuable items.

You can request child seats for the shuttle bus journey. These can be added free of charge when you make your reservation. The driver will happily help you load and unload the shuttle bus with your luggage. There is also a waiting room on Parkkönig's premises where you can stay while waiting for the shuttle bus.

How does Shuttle-Parking work?

Arrival
Parkkönig is located at Prinzenallee 18 in Düsseldorf next to the main road B8. You will find the entrance of the parking garage by means of the red-white sign. With our Routenplaner 15 minutes before you arrive at the parking garage, call Parkkönig. Follow the signs and wait in front of the barrier. The shuttle bus driver will welcome you there. If the shuttle bus driver is not yet present, you can call Parkkönig again. The employee will open the garage for you so that you can park. The white shuttle bus, with Parkkönig's logo on the side, is waiting for you outside. Within 4 minutes you will be taken to the airport.

15 minutes before you arrive at the parking garage, call Parkkönig. Follow the signs and wait in front of the barrier. The shuttle bus driver will welcome you there. If the shuttle bus driver is not yet present, you can call Parkkönig again. The employee will open the garage for you so that you can park. The white shuttle bus, with Parkkönig's logo on the side, is waiting for you outside. Within 4 minutes you will be taken to the airport.

Return journey
When you return from your trip, call Parkkönig as soon as you have picked up your luggage from the luggage belt. On your return journey you will receive a parking ticket with the pick-up point on it. Usually this is in front of departure hall A.

It may happen that you return from your trip a few days earlier or later than planned. Please report this directly to the parking provider. The additional costs for a possibly longer parking period can be paid in cash directly on site at the end of your trip.


How does Valet-Parking work?

Arrival
On the day of your trip you will drive to Düsseldorf airport. 15 minutes before your arrival at the airport, call Parkkönig to give your exact arrival time. Parkkönig will then send one of its employees to the airport to pick up your car. The employee will be waiting for you at departure terminal A. You can recognise him by his work clothes from Parkkönig. The Parkkönig employee will usually recognise you by your number plate and car model. After a short damage control of your car, the driver will park your car in Parkkönig's garage. For the return of your car a maximum of 20 kilometres is driven in your car. While the driver parks your car, you can already check in for your flight.

Return journey
When you land at Düsseldorf Airport again, first collect your luggage from the luggage conveyor belt. Then call Parkkönig to say that you have landed. An employee will bring your car back to departure terminal A. There you will pick up your car again and can start your journey home.

It may happen that you return from your trip a few days earlier or later than planned. Please report this directly to the parking provider. The additional costs for a possibly longer parking period can be paid in cash directly on site at the end of your trip.
